i was at the mall in an arcade and i saw this 18 year old playin ddr,he was pretty good. when he was done i asked to challenge him. he said yea and let me pick the song(he was all leaned back thinkin he didnt need the energy). i then highlighted max 300 and we were both on heavy mode. he was like"hey arent you gonna change your mode to light mode? you r like 12 years old,right?you cant be as good as me .and im like"yea,im 12,got a prob with me having short legs and high skill?" and then i chose the song. i wooped him

1. at my school we got new home versions of DDR MAX2 for our P.E. class, so we were all like "axesomeness...ness...nessness..ness." It turns out that i was the only good one in the class, lol. I was doing Tsugaru(that song is cool.) on HVY and was doing very good,.....that is...until one of my friends on the other DDR set to my right (there were 3 of them in the school, lucky me....annd we can only play with our socks on to prevent breaking the special metal "DDR ION" pads..unlucky me...) he stubbed his toe at the metal border. IT WAS HILARIOUS! i cracked up so much i fell on the ground rolling and laughing and failed like 5/6 into the song. he was hurt pretty bad though. but it was funny(he was doing Break Down on beginner lol) It was like a kodak moment. =]

2. the next time we did DDR in my P.E. class, i was watching my friend playing while ii was waiting my turn, planning what song i should do. so i look at the girls playing/waiting at the DDR set at the left wen one of the girls was doing Let's Groove on Light mode......horribly. then it happened. idk how, but she tripped out of nowhere and landed on the ground HARD. i held in my laughter for as long as i could, and then was bursing out with laughter. a few of my friends were laughing too, while my other friends were telling me: "thats not funny! have you no decency?!"

3. at the arcade i watched a guy like 16-18 yrs old trying to free style. his face just planted hard on the screen. he was knocked out cold, and of course..failed.

4.a few younger, show offy girls were doing DDR at the arcade doing few songs on beginner mode in versus. there were two on the pads, and four of them watching, along with a little boy out of nowhere. when the song started(Love Love Shine) the girls started to sing the japanese singing(they sucked of course, they werent asian..so it was funny) they stooped after the first line, and i almos applauded the little boy for not doing what they did...until they all were trying to step...including the 4 girls and the little boy along with the arrows. Hilarious stuff! Luckly the group of girls were by themself and the little boy had to leave with his mother. A lot of ppl walking/standing by or playing something nearby were cracking up so loud, inculding my brother and I lol. so my brother and I went to their faces laughing and yelling so loud and started pointing and stuff. it was so wrong..but so rite. we then ran out of the arcade cracking up(the girls were like 9-11 or 12 yrs old so thats why we did it. funny stuffs.) so they stopped stepping after realizing that nearly every1 was laughing at them. lolio.

I played DDR at Six Flags for 2 1/2 hours... and the only ride I ended up going on was the ferris wheel.

While I was there, I made friends with two of the workers. One was on break and could do Heavy songs and the other I just talked to a lot.

While I was taking a break, a semi-newb tried to play. It was obvious he really wanted to become a pro at it, but he ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS moved his feet into the center again, meaning he had to jump every arrow in a quarter note partern. I swear, it looked like he was using enough energy to make it through Dead End.

When I tried to do a Nonstop challenge, the second worker I made freinds with walked over from the counter and put in some tokens for me. I made it through 5% of the challenge and lost, so I decided to try double. I accidently selected VS, though, so I tried to do a Light song but play both pads at the same time. I lost when some jumps appeared, but the game didn't end and people started whatching me so I was like, "Whatever," and did two more songs on just one pad.

i played at six flags too. The pad there that I was on SUCKED HARDCORE ANAL. the right arrow u have to Stomp on it like a rhino to make it work. I lost on dropout which is like teh easiest.

This has to do with pump, same kind of game so i guess ill tell.

So i was working on passing winter on crazy 14 difficulty, and i havent ever passed it. And you know, i was playing different songs then on my bonus i would do winter. So im playing monkey finger <3 and S it, and theres a HUGE crowd around me. So i get the bonus and i pick winter, and i passed it for the first time finally. I even got an A, i dont know how, but it was awesome. The crowd was clapping, it made me feel good inside.

i only have one thing to share that i have not once since since. 8 yr old sister show up several of my friends that play ddr on heavy. not much of an impact. i just thought of how funny it was that a small 8 year old azn girl showing up guys around my age. you heard the remote giggles at the ice rink and felt the humility.

wow...were to start

1. i saw a guy playing(as i was about to) and a little kid got on the mat, in the middle of the song he kicked him in the face
2. i was playing with this guy and he had a USB in the ITG game, when picking a song i said "hey whats nsmb?". he told me not to pick it so i did(NSMB was on his USB), the song wound up being N*GG* Stole my bike...we were playing in the middle of Detroit
3. While doing the "R3" bar trick i slipped and hit my nuts on the bar
4. While playing ITG at my mall(they have drumania right next to it) i had 2 drum sticks thrown at me
5. i cussed at a lady cuz she played so badly and broke the pad
6. i got smacked in the face by a girl for playing captain jack on standard
7. this one is great...my pants fell down in the middle of max 300...i swear to god

Lol, you guys sure have some fun times. I got a few stories to share.

1. I know the manager of our local arcade pretty well, so sometimes she'll give me free tokens for ITG. We want to switch it out for a DDR, though.
2. I was playing DDR Extreme in Birmingham, AL once. I just finished Tsugaru on HVY with a B, and I was worn out (low stamina sucks), so I decided to do Daikenkai on Light as a relax/warm up stage before getting serious again. I decided to make it challenging by playing with 1 leg and hitting the double steps with my hand. In the middle of the song, I tripped and hit the right arrow with my head (strangely enough, it kept my combo going) and I ended up finishing the song on my back with my hands. It was funny but pretty embarrassing.
3. While playing Tell on Hard (ITG), a friend of mine walked up and put his hat on me when I came back up from a handplant. It was one of those Dr. Seuss "Cat in the Hat" hats, so everyone was in hysterics. I wore it the rest of the night just for kicks.

1. I've had someone from out of town ask me if they could video tape me playing, back when I sucked, and they were amazed because I did spins and stuff and still FC'd A on oni.
2. I was playing the Life of a Butterfly edit called Spins, and I played it 3 times in a row. In the middle of my fourth time, friend payed, I fell off and landed on some old guy. He yelled for a while then got over it.
3. I was freestyling Dynamite Rave on Light and when I went for a kneedrop I hit a screw and had to get stitches. Finished song.
4. (Many times) I've had old ladies and random people come up to me and start a conversation about how good I am and that it is a good game to stay in shape. It's so annoying.
5. I'm sure everyone has broken an arrow.

Note that I didn't read any of this thread, because I'm not wasting my time reading all those big post.

1: The employees of the arcade broke the DDR machine trying to get back this little brats bouncy ball that she lost under the machine. They mooved it around all over trying to get it, they finally did, but then the machine went ppppfffffttt... Then they thought that the problem was something really complicated, they thought is was the hard drive. So they bought a new one, and it still didn't work. Then they realized it was something incredibly simple, and they wasted all that money on nothing. All for that little brats bouncy ball. omg! Idiots...

Okay I go the arcade to play some Dance Dance Revolution. Got some change and played a few songs, sooner or later I had to get more quarters so I did. On my way back from that change machine, a guy asks me if I could spare fifty cents. No harm in that, so I gave it to him and he thanked me as I walked back to the Dance Dance Revolution machine. Played one song and the manager walks up next to me observing as I was choosing my second song. He then asks, "what did you give to that man a little earlier?"

I replied that I gave him some change, but that manager didn't believe me. He says, "I know your kind, this arcade doesn't want anything to do with your drugs. If your going to do that, do it on your own turf." Next thing he bans me from the arcade thinking I was some drug dealer. Even though I was really pissed I just laughed and saved my quarters for next time.
