Re: FFR vets: how did you come across this site?

I'm not a vet or anything but here's how I found this site:

    1. I discovered Cranky, the author of Party 4 U, along with other authors, pico and loki. Their music kicked ass. There used to be a site called sonic something that had a lot of it.
    2. I found a pico song in a DDR simulation in Flash and put it on my website.
    3. After playing the Flash game for hours and mastering it, Kaftan told me about a 'way better' Flash DDR simulation. I found it soon afterwards and started playing FFR. This was at the last two months of 2005.
    4. Addicted to it in December 2005 - ?

Also, my Join Date on the forums is later than when I got hooked.

Technically, you might be, but no one knows you.
            =/

EDIT: Actually, to be considered a veteran, you HAVE to be ACTIVE on forums for a long time. Just because you joined in 2003 doesn't make you a veteran.

I finally remembered the password on my first account, created over two years ago. It had about 2000 credits, so I sent them to my own. Yay.

Played it at a Christmas party a few years ago at a friends house. Decided to make my own account and try out the game.

My best friend showed it to me. Addicted since.

And I am not a "FFR vet".

Re: FFR vets: how did you come across this site?

I've been around long enough...But I'm not quite good enough to be considered a vet.

So... *shrugs* I think a friend of mine told me about it. And then another friend rementioned SM, and I remembered FFR.

Re: FFR vets: how did you come across this site?

I don't know if I count as a vet, but I believe the first I heard of this game was on a web board for Jpop music and similar topics. Someone there found it and posted it thinking others might be interested. I tried it and enjoyed it, so I've been playing on and off semi-regularly since then.

Essentially retired now, but still ranked on the list of FFR's Top One Handers.

Some friends of mine talked about the LoZ song at school around 2003, and I visited but disregarded it for a few months (the registering thing put me off).
I remembered the site after a bit, looked at it and decided to join. Played a couple of games of FFR, then saw they had a chat. I, being a total chat addict at the time, decided to check it out. That hooked me.
