I was in a 'games forum' in nexopia and there was a place where you post other websites games and someone put up flashflashrevolution and I became hurr.
That's cool Mario, but how come whenever you eat mushrooms, everything gets bigger but your dick?

Re: FFR vets: how did you come across this site?

Watched my friend complete FotBB one day at my house.

I thought it was pretty cool since i played DDR with him every other weekend at the mall with a few of the regulars. I kinda forgot about FFR for a year, but continued to play DDR. Then I got a foot injury during soccer, disallowing me to participate and play DDR, so I came back.

        Here I am, ever since.

Re: FFR vets: how did you come across this site?

I was browsing Yahoo! Answers one day when one person asked "who here plays DDR?"
As curious as I was to see how many people did, I looked at the answers.
Not much response, but one person said they play FFR but not DDR and they

had a link to the site. Yet again curiosity had me under it's evil spell, so I visited this
"FFR" site. Looked cool and I played my first FFR song which was Captain jack
and failed it like the n00b I was.

As fun as it was failing I did more songs all day trying to learn how to play using the keyboard.
The next day I found out about profiles and signed up for one to where I am today.

I'm pretty sure that's where I ran across it. I've been here for a while, yet, this is my first time posting on the forums.

ieatyourlvllol: i remember that on KoL... i was pretty hardcore into KoL for a few months (racked up about 350 million meat, still sitting on my account). I forget who was doing that though... but FFR had a HUGE KoL thread, which is how I found out about KoL. about 2000+ posts. think eb started it.

and, there have actually been multiple threads on this subject in the past... basically, I found out about FFR originally around Nov 02 when drinking in a friend of a friend's dorm room. she was playing FFR... I tried it and failed Mario. thought it was stupid. Then I met Whorli, who is into DDR... I have never been into DDR, but I remembered FFR and came back, more to kinda learn about the bemani community than anything else. Then I fell in love. <3.

I saw Hans playing it a couple of times, and eventually made an account. I got into the forums in February when I saw Hans playing TWG and wanted to get in.

A friend on msn sent me a link. We both played, I got better at it and he continued to suck so he gave up, but I continued to play. Joined the forums a few days after I started playing.

I started playing DDR really late into 1999 when a local place got a DDR 1.5 cabinet. When I was in college toward the end of 2001, I was really bored in the computer lab and had remembered this DDR game on newgrounds.com that was in Flash. It was horrible, but, yeah, I was really bored. I couldn't find it initially on newgrounds, but after a couple of searches, the xqsite link showed up and it took me to FFR. I basically spent the rest of the semester battling DuckNoodleSoup for the number one scores on the songs.

I discovered FFR from my sister's boyfriend back in middle of 04. I guess i've actually been here quite a while. I quit for about a year because i never really got better. Starting playing again, got really bored with it and was about to quit again but I decided to humor myself and try spread and the rest you can figure out.

I was into DDR long ago, and then I found FFR on bored.com. I figured it'd be easier than playing with feet, so I tried it out. First song: Breaking the Common. Ah, good times.

A bunch of seniors were playing this at school. Got interested then.

Back in the summer, i was bored and searched for games. I ended up playing that "Ollie's Dance Adventure" and I said, "This game sucks! I want a real DDR simulator!" I then searched for DDR simulators and found this site.

(I've had an account before this one)
