Honestly, this is just breath taking. The self portrait really shows how much hard work and effort you put into it. I admire how well you draw your eyes.
Nice work 8) I think 4 is really cool, and obviously the last one is really nice. You can tell you put a lot of work in to it. What are the dimensions of the paper on that one? Was it really big and you cut it down?

Just that you're a piece of shit who can't see reason and instead deserves a fucking beating.
For the most part it was drawn strand by strand, and the small highlight details were done by rolling a kneaded eraser into a small point, and then dobbing it in charcoal shavings, which lightened the hair miniscule amounts, giving it a pretty decent light refractal property, the hair took about 10 hours to do, and was in ONE sitting.
Have any pieces in actual color? You seem to veer away from that.
I have a few pieces in color, but it is in no shape or form my medium of choice.
I have a few decent water colorings, and a pastel or two, but I don't like them all too much, I would much rather continue on with my charcoal and pencil work, because I'm not all too fluent in the blending of colors, which usually results in an off-toned mess, and I like being able to erase my mistakes. xP

I didn't see this before, but I agree. I do the same kind of thing, I don't really enjoy working in color. I've always done better in black and white, it's much more simple. I really need to work on my coloring effects and all.
Speaking of black and white drawings, I think I'm actually going to color this one for some practice (drew the b+w version in about 15-20 minutes in an English class one day)
and I guess I'll just post this in this thread too because I don't want to make my own for two drawings
