It seems like TGWP, in general, is being weighted too heavily... but, specifically, part 4. No way should SDG be 5 points on part 4. Part 4 should have the same breakdown as part 2, IMO.

EDIT: Also, things like AAA on parts 1/3/5 seem a bit much... I'm 11th on Part 3 with 18-1 and 6th on Part 5 with 10-1... so, yea... i think you should do a bit more reseach into the breakdown on all the new songs, really. but definitely TGWP.

EDIT2: Like... I know I'm good on TGWP... but I have 4, 3, 4, 5, 4 on the 5 parts (rank: 6, 18, 11, 29, 6)... then 2 and 3 on Torinouta and Coat Czech, which is MUCH more reasonable.

So, I'm getting 5 points for rank 29, yet 3 points for rank 18, and 4 points for 6/6/11.

I agree...the harder-to-PA TGWP's should definitely be scored more leniently, especially Part 1. Meeting its 3-point req. gets you a highscore...rofl...

Re-Calculated.... I'm at 80 up to Song #48. 105 after Song #55. 123 after the AAA/Ave Rank bonus. 78 AAAs and 27.10 Ave Rank.

Well, I guess that's why people's point totals are suddenly so much higher. Mine stays the same because I only sight read all of them and played through maybe a second time, so they were horrible scores.

Higher point reqs for TGWP's are WAY too strict. No one has AAA'd 3 or 5 and you put that as a 6-pointer? Honestly. Every 7-POINTER should have at least 2 people who've done it, let alone 6-pointers.

Rework those to better fit what's actually been accomplished.

Ok I'll redo this tommorow. In the meantime, I have 10 full written out pages of score conversions for each song and amount of goods for the requirements for what points. I have a few more songs to do, and I should be done with it by morning. Using this system, I should be able to rank someone in about 5 minutes max.
Example:
I took the amount of steps x 1550, wrote down all the max scores for each song.
Then wrote down each requirement for each song, such as
20031023-
AAA- 1,734,450
5 - 1,733,075
12 - 1,731,150
25 - 1,727,575
FC- 1,704, 200 (10% of the amount of steps is the good max for an fc)

Basically did that for each song, and weighed the %age heavy for fc's on others, so I have a list to look to when I'm ranking people. I'll copy it into word tommorow and give it to Jim and Jammer so I don't have to rank everyone.
All I have to do now is view someone's levelrank.php, ctrl+f each song, look at the point total, look at the list, and I can easily assign points. I think its a good substitution until we have something setup.

As for TGWP, I threw that in there for the meantime, didn't even look over it, I was testing something and never took it back out. Don't pay any mind to it for now, but the additional bonuses are correct.
