Perhaps someone with a PS3 can answer this for me: will God of War, Kingdom Hearts, and Kingdom Hearts II work on PS3 consoles? I don't have a PS2, but I really want those three games, so if someone could answer this, I'd be very grateful.

There is a list of 200 PS1 and PS2 games that don't work, but I don't have it.

Among the list of PS2 games that come out jagged, God of War is on it. As is Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy XII.

There's no full game list up yet, but several of the major titles do not work "correctly" on the PS3. The edges become jagged and such.

Any idea what website I go to to to find that list? Kingdom Hearts are the two games that I really want.

Why would you buy a PS3 just to play PS2 games?

It's not a website. It's just another forum. The entire thing is in debate right now. A full list might be available later.

I don't have a PS2 and those are two games I really want as I have tried them before at a friend's house. Even so, those games are not the sole reason why I'm going to get a PS3. It's just annoying how so many great games are released on one console only. >_<

Go to eBay and get a used PS2. They go for about $30.

$30 is five hundred and seventy dollars cheaper than the PS3.

Well thank you for your input, but it would be more worth it for me just to get the PS3 and not get any PS2 games at all; of course I'm still going to try.

Apparently, the mall where I got the Wii should have 99 PS3s for sale tomorrow. Guess how many of those PS3s I'm getting. Go ahead. Guess.

This is unofficial, according to one of friends who plans to get one. I never bother to ask him who his source was, so I kinda trust the info 50/50. Remember, this is the same mall that had literally 100s of Wiis on launch day. Though, that is a bit different because it's the same mall that has the Wii exhibition.

When I was at Orland Mall Friday and was looking in the Gamestop with some of my friends, A man asked a man who worked there if they were carrying any Ps3's. He said one, and the guy bought it. I stood there shocked, I missed my chance at a Ps3

So I asked if by chance they would have more, and the worker said, "We do not have anymore at this time, and will most likely not get another shipment before Christmas. But check Chicago Ridge Mall Sunday, they are having some promotion where they are getting 99 of them."

I told him thanks and left estatic.
Yesterday I called the 15 Gamestops that were in the phonebook and the 13 Gamecrazy's.
Not one had a Ps3.
Most were getting a shipment Tuesday tho.
And Chicago Ridge Mall? Calling them they told me they had none in and were getting one. Keeping it a secret until Sunday maybe? Idk, but im heading over there in a bit after breakfast with santa (Comeon, santa rocks).

And if I happen to find on, Nforcer your welcome over to play it in Hi-def on the plazma tv

But your TV could still pwn mine I bet.
