So yea, I have three in my left ear, my eyebrow and my tongue...

As to why I did it, I don't really know. I mean, most of it was just because I just like the way it looked, but I guess in all reality, it fed a little into my masochistic nature.

But for the most part, yea looks.

no you see the thing is . if i want to have a place to live , then i CAN'T get a piercing. it's not about my mom getting over it or not it's simply not tolerated in my house. i'm graduating this week so maybe my luck will change.

Well, I have had my ears pierced since I was like 3 or something.. and throughout elementary school my friends got more piercings but I didn't think much of it until like High School... that's when I started liking piercings. And I also got my eyebrow pierced although I kinda regret that.. but it was exciting either way..

I gauged my ears last year too.
To 0's ironically.
But, I took them out..oh, 6 months ago.

why the **** did I do that?

I mean, I thought it was awesome then. And I loved them. but now, I wish I hadn't as the holes in my ears are still larger.
all I'm saying is.
cool cool.
peircings are a little hole.
and when/if the thrill goes away so does the peircing.
but a tattoo?
I'm too scared i'll regret it.

When girls get things other than their ears pierced lip, bellybutton etc. it is just flat out sexy.

I agree with jewp on this one. That's pretty much precisely how I think about it - except I DO want piercings and tattoos. I have my ears pierced but they are solely to hang stuff from. I don't have any desire to make the holes bigger. They're just pierced so I can put things there. I don't really wear earrings often, maybe once a month or two.

Hmm. I have 4 piercings on my ear, one on the earlobe, 3 on the top of my................................ left ear. =D

Anyways, yeah I had that thrill to pierce my ears, or lips, or nose...

I'm only 14, I know piercings aren't very professional when it comes to piercing your lip, but I don't need a job yet or anything and it would heal by the time I'm 16 so I don't get why parents don't let yourself pierce w.e now before you're older and you can't because of jobs and stuff.

The piercings in my ear that I loved sooo much though are growing in because I don't have earrings for them and I'm careless about the piercings now. Though, it would be nice to get more damn earrings for the piercings.

I have both my ears lined and my lip pierced, and I never got any thrill out of it. I just did it because I thought it looked cool. I'll admit though, once you get one, you want more. I got my first one when I was 8, (left ear) and since then get at least a couple new piercings each year.

Honestly... I think besides ear and sometimes nose rings, peircings look gross. Especially eyebrow and lip. Tatoo's are cool though.

well me personally i like piercings i pierced mi ears mi self after the first hole i couldnt stop now i have 8 piercings in each ear and im going to get mi tounge pierced and thats were im stopping so i guess is some thrill in peircing but tatoos im not to crazy about

do most people find what they want in their piercing first and then get it or just get the piercing and at the last minute find somthing to fill it up with?

I got my eyes pierced it was so thrilling!!! And you know what else? I got tattoos covering my whole body YAY!!!
