Well, I wouldn't really call my school's Music Game club an actual club, for it doesn't get a pic in the yearbook

Twenty Three friends, my theater director, and myself decided it would be great to all have 4th period off (on a 7-block schedule). During this period, the director hooks up five televisions in his room and we load up music games and just play and have fun. We met after school a few weeks out of the year last year, and this year we're going to be meeting more after school, only once all the other extra curricular activities are set and done. We will always have 4th period though.

The games we played (love you Rebirth0) were Guitar Hero 1 and 2, DDR MAXX 1 & 2, Extreme 1 & 2, Supern0va, ITG, Beatmania, FFR, SM, Amplitude and Parappa the Rapper (good game).

EDIT: We didn't need permission from an administrator since we don't need any money to start this club. We will soon start fundraising, so we will have to ask an administrator in the neer future. The finds will be for shirts and yearbook space.

I'm planning on doing something like that. Can you explain what you did step by step to create your club? Thanks. I really appreciate it.

We just started one at my school. I'm president, but it's really gay because you need a physical packet to play. My school is calling it a "dancing" club. W/e, were just starting to get regulars. We'll see how it turns out.

I know a group of kids at my school (about 6 or 7) that are into DDR liek seriously. One kid claims he has AAAd max 300 and his friends back him up on it. But i don't want to start a club with them.... They are kind of the outcasts.

I wouldn't want one. All the wapanese kids would come in and clutter it up with their "OMG MEGASSA KAWAII DESU NE~~~^_____________^" and do nothing but play Butterfly on light repeatedly, tempting me to punch them in the face. In the unlikely event that someone good did come in, that would be totally badass.

ares isnt an official club, just 20 something guys hanging out and playing music games... we just got our 'coach' to get 4th period off, and we took office practice and 'work' for him, so we can just chill in his class, its theater class, so its a big room. we started it when i was a junior, now im a senior, so yeah.

From you guys talking about this i am going to check into doing this at my school. A lot of people love the game, i could easily find at least 50 people who would join. I will talk to the guidance people about it and update it on here.

Last year our school had an Adopt-a-Family fundraiser (raises money for poor people in the city to have a nice christmas) and one class got the idea of holding a lunch arcade for a week. Had a ton of games setup, anything from SSBM to DDR to Halo. That's as close as my school's ever gotten to having an club event related to DDR.
