Sunday I'm going back to the dorm, and we're not allowed to use wireless routers there, so who knows if I'll be able to stay online or not. We'll see.

By the way, I hear that Twilight Princess is the greatest Zelda game ever. Can't wait to play it.

Hey jamuko, you might be able to go online with the Buffalo Wireless USB adapter. It doesn't really count as a router because It only allows connections from the Nintendo Wii and DS.

Messaging works. Both users must have each Wii Console number registered. After the console connects to WiiConnect24 and checks the status of the other console, messaging is enabled for that person.

Hehe, this is reminding me of the beginning of the year when we were all having fun with Animal Crossing. =D (NEW YEAR PARTY!!)

That USB adaptor is like $40 or so, right? ;-; I heard it didn't work so well either, although that was back in the beginning of the year. (Edit: Sorry, I thought you were talking about Nintendo's USB adaptor.)

First I'll try connecting to campus wireless, but I doubt it'll work since it requires logging in with student ID in a browser. Maybe I'll hook up my wireless router anyway and hope they don't cut off my Internet access because of it :/ I wonder if there's a way to mask the fact that it's a router.

To receive messages while my Wii is on standby, do I need to have Wiiconnect24 set to be on during standby? I turned it off because I didn't like the noise it made when I powered it down, haha.

Yeah, it totally works now. I sent you and nforcer a message. Fish and Squeek, you guys probably have the same problem I did. See what color the light on the power button is during standby. It should be yellow, not red.

Any idea if the Wii supports USB keyboards? If it does, I'm definitely buying one. Using the remote for messages is a pain in the ass.

You added him too right? And he keeps his WiiConnect24 on during standby too?

Try doublechecking the codes you gave each other... maybe one of you made a mistake when entering it.

I definitely got messages from nforcer and dAnce. =D Awesome... I really hope I can still do this on campus. We'll find out in a few hours =o
