Question Re: I played DDR for the first time ever today

I did, but it didn't. The mp3 file became smaller, but when I converted it to .ogg format, for some strange reason, it was slightly larger than before. I'll go back and try it again...

Re: I played DDR for the first time ever today

Do you mean "compress the mp3 before conversion?"

Re: I played DDR for the first time ever today

Well, unfortunately, I found out that it will not load, because the file size is slightly too large. The maximum file size is 5 MB, but Max Forever is 5.23 MB. That really made my day T_T. I tried...

Re: I played DDR for the first time ever today

Okay, I'm about to try something interesting. I've downloaded the official simfile for Max Forever, got the .ogg and .sm files, and I've used the OggLengthPatch (which actually works for me with...

Re: I played DDR for the first time ever today

Well, I've improved quite a bit in my view. Last time I played DDR at the mall, I tried Max 300 and couldn't even make it to the freeze arrows -_-'. Then I went on Saturday and tried again. This...

Re: r21 Compatible simfiles

Thanks, you two. I'm the only one who plays our machine, and I'm trying my hardest to keep it from getting shipped elsewhere. I'll check these out.

r21 Compatible simfiles

First of all, forgive me if someone has already created a similar thread, because I haven't seen it yet. Okay, here's my dilemma: I'm trying to find any simfiles that are compatible with the r21...

Re: *Spoiler Warning*Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess Discussion.

Well, I just beat it the other night. About 34 hours of gameplay, and I really didn't care to get all the extras. Let's see, 14 hearts, 26 poes, about 5 of the gold bugs, and I didn't really bother...

Re: Who is your favorite anime character?

I'm with you on that one. I like Naruto in general because it's crazy half the time.

Geez, I've got too many favorites. No one's mentioned FLCL. Now that was a funny show. Shame that it only had...

A little over six minutes. Wait, you saying there's another version? I didn't have a clue.

Re: I feel like I'm dying...

Ugh, I hate getting sick. The worst that I can remember was during Spring Break '03. I woke up that Sunday with strep throat and a cold. It hurt like hell to talk, and every time I managed to say...

Re: Stupid things you've done but never told anyone...

I set off an air horn in the public library once. I made sure I was well-hidden beforehand. Thankfully, no one ever found out it was me.

Re: Average Skill Level?

8-9, when I'm playing seriously. When I'm being generally silly and trying to freestyle (at which I have absolutely no experience) I stick to the standard 5-7 levels.

Re: I played DDR for the first time ever today

I love both DDR and ITG. On DDR, I usually do pretty well on 8 and 9-footers. on ITG, about the same. Only Expert song I've passed on ITG is Zodiac; I know it's an easy one. The only downside is that...

Re: Colorblind

I'm fine when it comes to colorblindedness (if that's the word). I had the feeling that it was a screamer, but my stupid ass looked at it anyway. Jumped about a foot off the ground, and I'm in the...

Re: Does death scare anybody else?

I kinda understand what you're saying, Xception. I'm not really worried about death myself, but what does bother me is thinking about at which point in my life it will occur. I mean, I don't want it...

Re: Death Clock

Wednesday, March 16, 2061. A decent deathday. I'll be 73 then.

But that's according to that program. I alone decide when it's time for me to leave this earth.

Re: The Riddle Thread

That's pretty simple; the answer is silence. Okay, try this one.

Two friends are talking. One asks the other a single question all day long. Each time the question is asked, a different answer is...

Re: Interesting Things That Happened While Playing DDR / ITG.

It's always somewhat funny when someone falls off the machine in the middle of the song. But this guy I found on youtube passes out completely in the middle of some edit stepchart he made for Utopia....

Re: ITG or DDR?

I play both ITG and DDR, and they're both fun in their own way. ITG is a little more challenging and has more options, and DDR has a hard-to-beat soundtrack. Granted, a lot of the songs on DDR are...

Re: Interesting Things That Happened While Playing DDR / ITG.

Lol, you guys sure have some fun times. I got a few stories to share.

1. I know the manager of our local arcade pretty well, so sometimes she'll give me free tokens for ITG. We want to switch it...

Re: First FC for me

Well, I'm not as used to using the small amount of space that the keyboard allows. I'd rather play this using a floor mat. If that were possible anyways...

Smile First FC for me

I got the full 588 combo playing Kick It. I know that compared to some of the insane scores that many of the others have posted, it doesn't seem like that big of a deal. But it's a big deal for me,...

Re: ITG2 r21 Update

Yeesh, I just updated our local ITG2 machine to R21, but now I can't figure out where to get the song files from. I don't have a home computer anymore (I'm at the library), so I can't do anything...
