Playing an instrument make you better at FFR?

Take piano for instance, it uses basically the same principles as FFR.

Reading notes very quickly and playing them using fingers...

Does anyone who play piano find theyre very good at FFR?

I can do like, some VD songs C and above with abit of button bashing

I can finish any level at all with some good ol' button...
