Went from rank 27 to rank 12 in D5 after some isolation practice for the end of song. Feeling real good about that since I'm hella washed up.

Well, I gave it my all, but Pizza Hat is just too jazzy for me. Can't get much practice in before mindblocks start setting in, and I bet the cutoff will move up even more before the end of the day.

GG D4 on a fun but stressful tournament, and thanks to the organizers for running it and getting me back into the game. I don't think I'll be able to get to my previous peak any time soon, but I'll try to keep playing more regularly. I'll be sure to play in the losers' bracket to get some peepee water on my ghost, and hopefully show up for more tournaments. Gotta get those tokens somehow.

That being said, I've become too mindblocked on Trap Funk to get any improvement, let alone shaving off 12.4 raw goods (potentially more if people make the cutoff more strict). Gonna call it the end of the road here, I don't have the energy to stress myself out over this like I did when I was younger and in a lower division. I made my goal of getting to round 3 and it feels good not being in the bottom 3 of the people getting chopped.

My ghost is looking forward to chilling in the underground with a nice glass of piss. EVeryone in D6, holy fuck looming shadow looks really fun so have fun and good luck from here on. (Haku i'm cheering you on for as long as you can safely play, don't break yourself please)

This round is shaping up to be an interesting one already. Predicting only like 5 AAAs this round :P

Its a lot more stamina draining, but the patterns are definitely easier.

I think its around the same "difficulty" since they said D6 has been getting smashed, but more doable if you have stamina.

That’s incredible, Grant. So far I’ve had one run where I got the first half perfect, and one where I only had one good in the second half, so in theory I should be able to get at least a black flag if everything comes together. But last night my runs were getting worse with practice instead of better.

I get messed up on the first 500 notes because the patterns with the speed are very awkward but at the same time, I haven't clipped my nails in a bit so that might be the issue. I'm not sure what it is about them that make me mess up a lot but I'm having trouble not collapsing before 500 notes in.

Was hoping the song length would go down and the difficulty would go up but it turned out the exact opposite lol

You can do it bud! The file is real top heavy! If you can get past note ~320 the rest of the song is almost free as long as you don’t lose focus! I got mindblocked by the 20 notes from 203 to 223 for like 70 tries before realizing that I can hit that pattern with the right hand but not the left, so I threw the song on mirror and consistently got a bit farther in which was the impetus needed! I believe in ya and hope to see you in R5

Yeah for me its still the green note pattern at the beginning that messes me up. I'll either get 3 goods, or I AAA it then lose focus later on. Legit the whole file is free except like notes 160-170. I actually am being screwed by one pattern lol

Thanks Grant! I just tried it mirrored and I'm down to 8 goods again, and they were almost all on the borderline. It might take many more tries before I get the AAA but this feels like progress.

Yeah, I at least definitely like this song more than the last; it's more hype and thus more fun to grind. I also kind of feel like it's easier to acc on non-jump files than for jumpy ones, despite it being roll-intensive. I need to play more out of this song as well, but depends on how my wrist feels tomorrow.
