Re: Official Tournament Special Batch
Nevermind now I see why there was confusion, Dossar edited things in my OP without telling me. It's in it's proper place on the OP now.

Re: Official Tournament Special Batch
Is 13 mins too long for a tournament file?
|

Anyway, we probably will need help in getting d7 filled out. I haven't looked over to the hard songs batch yet because I want to try to get through everything we have transferred currently and the stuff submitted. Especially cause I need to figure out if there are some that don't fit the slots and maybe can go over to FFRmas. |
Re: Official Tournament Special Batch
3rd set of notes are up:
Le carnaval des animaux, Movement no. 14 "Finale (ilikexd) Follow You (gameboy42690) Funny Funky Freaky (bmah) Endgame (DarkZtar) Ox 69 (hi19hi19) |
Re: Official Tournament Special Batch
given what's been queued and conditionally queued from the hard songs batch so far, I don't think you'll have too much of a hard time filling out D7
only a couple files are structured in such a way that I wouldn't consider them tourney-appropriate |

The second one matches up better with what you suggested so when I make fixes I'll submit it with the second title. |

Re: Official Tournament Special Batch
On that topic, I'm not sure if we can even support files longer than 8:58 (at least I think that's what the limit was) without doing some sort of manipulation. I think TGWP v2 was only possible as a 17 minute song because there was a pause section where some nasty hack was applied to the flash file so that way the player didn't experience a lag hiccup in the file to bridge that limit.

and R^2/earlier can just be hacked like you mentioned (not that it's the most grandeur of solutions, but) |

Re: Official Tournament Special Batch
As of 12/6/2015 7:20 PM EST The Batch Search Engine has been updated with the following:
Other Notes - The Official Tournament Batch is currently at 51 songs with 14 Accepted Files and 1 Conditional Queue File. 3 Sets have been judged (15 files). - Did another quick update to cover some missing changes. |

Also I do plan on making fixes for all the files accepted via the tournament batch, but won't be able to get around to them till after next week (this week + next week is finals + term papers) And clarification on whether the engine can handle a longer than 9 min file would probably be good just cause I do have a 13 min file that I was gonna submit to the December batch. |
Re: Official Tournament Special Batch
Okay so I decided to start converting everything and seeing where they fit so check the spreadsheet
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...lOQ/edit#gid=0 Everything in blue is a file that fits there but is still awaiting judgement. This helps you guys see what still needs to be filled and is helping me figure out what's not going to fit in so I can move it over to FFRMas. |
Re: Official Tournament Special Batch
Sent in some really kickass Celldweller.
I was trying to make this fit the 58-60 slot for D2 Round 5 but a few parts might kick the difficulty up above a 60. |
Re: Official Tournament Special Batch
The difficulty ranges in each slot is just more of a base guideline, if it were slightly over but still fit in that slot well we'd use it.
