Re: Technika coming to PS Vita
I read up rumors of an ipad/ipod touch port a while back. I haven't heard anything new on that yet. It would be great playing technika on the ipad though. As of now though, because of this, the vita is always on my mind.

Re: Technika coming to PS Vita
I'm actually looking forward to this. I'm curious as too how exactly this kinda peripheral will support the game's dynamics and interface. I can't imagine owning Technika's 10s on a screen as small as the PS Vita's.Comment

Re: Technika coming to PS Vita
Well the article does quote "The Vita version won't simply replicate this gameplay concept, as it somehow uses both the touchscreen and the rear touch panel. However it works, rest assured: it will be very difficult."
I'm eagerly interested to see how this will play on the vita. I've been so addicted to the PSP DJ Max games and have been desperate for a portable Technika.

Re: Technika coming to PS Vita
The closest thing on the market that's almost like virtual/portable Technika is the Osustream app. Check it out I suppose, though if you're playing it on an iPod or iPhone, you're going to rage because it's incredibly difficult to play hard difficulties on a screen that small. It's much more easier and fun on an iPad.Comment

Re: Technika coming to PS Vita
I would buy it but..
There's no way I'm getting a Vita just for Technika. It's much better to play it at the arcades with the superhuge screen. It just isn't the same experience when you can't with 2-4 fingers at ONCE on the screen.
Vita - the screen isn't big enough for you to be tapping away with 2+ fingers (on double notes and continuing notes with double notes, etc). Your fingers will ultimately get in the way of your view.
No for me. :/ Even jubeat on the iPad is better.
ps) this is coming from a guy who's played every single DJ Max release, starting from DJ Max online in 2004 -3-Comment

Re: Technika coming to PS Vita
I honestly don't think anyone is gonna get the Vita Just-For-Technika. Anyone that would do such a thing is either an idiot and a fool with money, or is incredibly rich and won't feel anything from such a purchase.I would buy it but..

Some of us don't like driving to arcades and dumping quarters and standing in front of a machine that kids have touched after picking there nose and sneezing on it. Plus, arcades are slowing disappearing, and Technika machines aren't exactly a common machine to come across. In fact, they're extremely rare. I'm in Norfolk Virginia right now and haven't found a single machine yet, so this is actually a treat to some people like me. Yes, it's better to play on a big screen, I know from playing it in Florida, but it's always fun to play short portable bursts every now and then too. You're right about your hand getting in the way of the screen, but I'm sure they're coming up with ways to make it play well.
Coming from a guy that played every single DJ Max game? Not trying to be a dick, but um... that's not gonna impress Beatmania veterans. DJ Max is another Beatmania clone which has been around since 1997. Even O2Jams been around longer.

Re: Technika coming to PS Vita
:/ Well I'm just saying because I've actually played Technika in the arcades for some time with a platinum crew card, and the technika experience just isn't going to be the same on the PSP Vita.
Also, not many people have PSP Vita. I doubt everyone who said "I want it" or "I'm buying it" have a PSP Vita at the moment.Comment
