Take Over The World (pinky and the brain anyone? :P)

First real attempt at a dubstep track. Comments, criticism appreciated as always. Enjoy!

I like everything, but the drop/main part is pretty underwhelming. Needs more greezy. I'd suggest a blareing bassline and some more backround stuff happening.

      Posting as I listen:

      - I like the intro, the pitch you used to start off the song is nice. I like that you started it off on a softer note too, not rushing into the main beat of the song.
      - The buildup is coming along nicely, good sounds added as it goes along, with a little bit of waves (distortion? I'm not familiar with music terms) there
      - The beat right after "the take over the world" line doesn't seem strong enough, but I really like the rhythm it puts out.
      - The section after out with the high pitched dinging is a good addition
      - The buildup out of the soft part seems a bit rough, I mean the drone-type sound that you have coming in. Still, has a good rhythm overall.
      - Second take over the world, goes back to the dub rhythm. I like it, but again, it's not powerful enough in my opinion. It needs to have more notes that really stand out and are very defined, you know?

Overall, I liked the song. The rhythms you used were nice and well placed, and the overall feel of the song seemed nice. However, some of the drone sounds were a bit rough and weren't really comfortable to listen to as the rest of the song, but it's not a huge issue. The biggest concern was the drop/main beat. It just wasn't strong enough. As fido said, it was underwhelming. Add more effect to it and it'll be sick. I think a lot of people want to be able to half-shit their pants when they hear the drop. Good job though for a first real attempt at doing dubstep!
