    Replanting my SM roots!

    So, I need details on which engine I should be using. SM 3.9/3.95/4.0/5.0?

    As well, since I suck some serious floppy donkey... yeah that, I need good medium difficulty and up packs to work on.

    Hoping to get back into arrowsmashing competitively and maybe even return to my former glory as a "good" player. I'll be using this thread for multiple questions and such as I encounter them.

      3.9 and 3.95 are still standard versions to use for a lot of people but SM5 has quickly taken off compared to how it was like a year ago. Any of those 3 are fine so long as you don't use the buggy and abandoned 4.0, lol.

              I tried installing SM5 p4 but I'm getting a fatal error right at the very end of the install. This typical?

              Using W7 Ultimate 64-bit.

                      You aren't supposed to install SM5 in Program Files apparently. Try locating it elsewhere

                          but I have UAC turned off (thats probably why)
