    Prepare yourself for hardcore nostalgia.



    I was on the wayback machine, and figured I'd head to FFR in December '03. Well, I was actually able to download the executable FFR version! So I figured I'd make a video.

    I was never a member of FFR until around '04 or '05, but I remember downloading this and all of the songs that were hosted (I made a file for Euphoria and released it on the simfile DB under djreality14 (yes, I'm djreality14, this is old news)). ps if anyone actually still has this file, I will love you forever.

    Looking at this compared to FFR today... Holy shit, there have been so many changes to the website. And so much drama lol.

    Here's to at least a couple more years of FFR!

      Terror from beyond, first song everyone on FFR played when I got into it, because it was the first song in the default genre, dance.

                                          The judge/strictness of the timing window is much different back then than it is today. I honestly think Synth was still figuring out the mechanics of the game as opposed to wanting it "hard" on the players.

                                          Still to this day, I think there are ancient aspects of the FFR engine that need to be amended if possible.

                                              Oh man.
                                              I remember playing this WAY back in the day, even before I had any account to call my own.
                                              It is beautiful at how much things have changed and progressed. And while I enjoy how everything is now, it is always fun to look back at the times when FFR was just a baby making its first steps.

                                                          This is why I didn't play back then. Joined in 2003 and didn't even play until 2008 because the game was so unplayable.
