I'm checking to see what difficult songs I still need to FC, so I go and sort my levelranks by most misses. Here's a picture showing one section of what I get:
Well most of that makes sense, but um... there's a few in there that are not like the others! lmao
The thing is, I distinctly remember FCing some of those easier songs that levelranks is saying I have misses on, however some of them are also definitely being reported correctly.
So I decided to check the Velocity engine and see if, using the song select, these songs will show as being FC'd or not.
I'm certain that I have already FC'd Bomb the Base, and sure enough, the Velocity engine agrees with me:
I'm also sure I have NOT FC'd Switchback [Light], and this is being reported accurately by levelranks and the Velocity engine:
The weirdness holds true for the rest of the songs. I'm sure that, in addition to Bomb the Base, I have FC'd Tetris Remix, Troglodytic Epica, and Norgers. For all four of these, levelranks does not show my FC but Velocity's engine does.
In addition to Switchback [Light], levelrank and Velo's engine agree that I have not FC'd Song For The Nihonjins either. I'm certain these two results are correct, as I remember both of these songs and where I derped misses due to being bored out of my mind.
Finally I checked the Beta Level Reader and it's agreeing with levelranks in all of the cases.
The implications of this are a little unsettling. Is it a bug in Velo's sort mechanism or is it an error with score recording/levelranks? Is this a known bug and I'm just overreacting? XD
