    The Tournament of Eternity! (September)

    Welcome!

    Do you have an unquenchable thirst for competing in tournaments? Hate waiting around for the next one to start? If you do, your in the right place. I will be hosting a tournament every month!

    Travis (SocoNhydro420) and Mike (Sweet_Feet) will be your hosts this month!

    Please read this entire post!

    If you insist on not reading the whole post, please, at least read the "layout".


    Layout

    Special thanks to Sweet_Feet for coming up with the theme for this tourny!

    The monthly tournaments are up for change each time to keep things new and interesting, so be sure to check it out before entering. If you still have questions after reading this entire post, then post your question and we will gladly asnwer it as well as tack on the information to this post. This also goes for suggestions on improving the tournament.

    If you would like to donate to September's tournament, please send donations to "Steptember" (Yes, thats STEPtember, not September) along with a screen shot of the transfer so we can thank you properly.

    <> September's tournament will be a "How long can you last" type thing. More information in the bullets below.

    <> BEFORE playing a song, you must set your autofail to 1-1-1-1. Your score for that song will be the number of perfects you can get before you get a good/average/miss/boo and then fail out. Hence the theme.

    <> All scores must be submitted as a replay AND a screenshot! No exceptions!! If your replays are full, then your going to have to delete at least one of them. Also, do not delete the replays you use for submitting a score! As soon as you see that your score has been added/updated, you may then delete the replay. Furthermore, if you end up improving on a score, you can delete the old replay.

    <> There will be 6 rounds, lasting 4 days each.

    <> The top player(s) with the highest cumulative score will be the winners.

    <> The prizes will be divided among the top two or three, depending on the amount of credits donated.

    <> There will be one song each round to play.

    Rules

    Should go without saying, but nonetheless here it is:

    DONT CHEAT!!

    Cheaters will be disqualified. No buts about it. Cheating includes:

    1. Using a bot to play a song

    2. Manually editing a score screenshot.

    3. Using an offline engine, or any sort of custom engine to play the songs. Only the legacy and velocity engine can be used for the score pic. Standalones are allowed of course.

    4. Account sharing/friends playing for you.

    This leads into the next sections.

    Proper Score submission
    Must include the following:

    <> Is in the form of a screen shot AND a replay, posted in this thread

    <> Screen shot contains the username and timestamp, not a problem if your logged in.

    <> Must be posted before the round ends, or after the round starts. No early/late submissions will be accepted. (Unless you PM one of the hosts and we allow an extesion)

    Division Placements
    Most people will know what division they are comfortable in from prior tournaments. But if you arent, heres some things to think about in making your choice.

    <> You should not have any AAA's from the difficulty cap on a division. For example, if you have AAA'd a 9 but nothing higher, you might be too good to be placed in D1/D2. Remember, this is something to consider, not abide by completely. Some players might be eligable for D4 and not have any AAAs, as they might be lazy, or some might have a AAA of an easy 9, but can still be D2 Material.

    <> What is the highest difficulty you can handle without having to mash? This difficulty is a good idea of the cap difficulty for the division thats right for you.

    <> Tier points. If you have a good amount of tier points, please, dont put yourself in anything lower then D4. As all tier point requirements come from difficulty 10 and above.

    <> Ask somebody! Ask a friend whos participated in a tounament what division they think you would be good in. If you dont have any friends that know enough about division placements, PM one of the hosts and we'll decide where we think you should be placed based on your stats.


    Prizes
    The prizes will be divided among the top 2-3 players in a division. They will be announced at the end of the tournament.

                      Op and Bio, you were talking about being in the same division again, but which do you want? D5 or D6?
