    Good place to make music?

    I've got an idea for some music I'd like to make (Piano + Breakbeats, similar to October). I've seen people use soundcloud and newgrounds. Which is better, and how do I use them?

      People need to learn what breakbeat is... it makes me sad to see another person calling IDM breakbeat

          I apoligize, I'll need to look into that. Anyway, do you know which is better, or if there's a better one than the two?

                  Are you talking about creating music or uploading music?

                  Soundcloud/NG are places to upload your music to. If you're interested in making music, you might want to look around for programs like Reason, FL, Ableton, etc.

                      I'm thinking of creating music. Reason, FL, are those downloads or do I need to actually buy them?

                              I intend to create music, not upload. Not yet at least. Also, if those music making things are downloaded, where do I download them?

                                      It kept giving me this "Magix" Music making thing, and I'm pretty sure you have to buy it, which sucks. I'll look some more, I guess.

                                          Honestly, if you're new. . use FL it's so much quicker to pick up and if you wanna branch out from there then it's all good, (If you were to get FL.)

                                          I use Reason now for most of my sequencing, but I started in FL. . . . yeah.

                                                  Ya, I wouldn't mind learning how to make beats myself. So if anyone knows a good sound synthesizer I'd love to have it. :3
