    [NEW EP] CBR vs Xanorith - When Forces Collide

    Hey guys,
    I and my long-time best buddy, Xanorith, also known here as Poleaxe, crafted this lovely, free EP over the last few weeks for you guys.
    Expect sinister melodies, and just generally dark atmosphere infused with a party feeling.

                              Track one: Good - I think when the piano came in the second time, it sounded a little out of place due to some of the notes but good regardless of that.

                              Track two: This has real potential and this gave me ideas for my own production. That guitar-ish synth sound really out of place for me, like I dunno just didn't really belong. Maybe experiment with different synths. The second drum patterns was too much of a shock in terms of mixing, was way too high leaning in terms of frequencies for me but when the next beat came in it was good to the end.

                              Track three: Man, that is so high leaning it's unreal. . Those drums'd kill a mans ears with headphones on. Great idea again, to be honest there was nothing wrong with this apart from the highness in the freq, please sort that out!

                              Track four: hahaha speach synths. I would have liked to hear more synths in there. The two there can't stand up on their own in my opinion. Nice amen break there. That lead synth can call a guys ears. . come on man =/

                              Good stuff, really it's just your levelling / EQing that's holding you back man. I quite enjoyed this to be honest.

                                  Thanks for the honest critique, can always trust on you

                                  Once I start working (still a student) I will have money to invest into this project to buy some proper studio moniters and much, much more. I already have mastering software, and utilize it and it sounds great on my end but I master it over my 45$ Logitech headset... better than my 20$ speakers to say the least.

                                  Also: Perhaps in the future you all can expect another EP with me and Xanorith...
