    Modern Warfare 2 On The Xbox 360 May Be Subject To A Phishing Scheme

    Microsoft has sent a warning to gamers saying Modern Warfare 2 may be the target of scammers. An Xbox Live status update tells gamers about the possible scheme. "Users may receive potential phishing attempts via title specific messaging while playing Modern Warfare 2," Microsoft warns in the message. The scammers try to receive personal information from gamers. Microsoft assured gamers they are working on the issue but in the mean time, don't talk to strangers. Scratch the "in the mean time" part, just don't talk to strangers ever.

    edit: Phishing is a way of attempting to acquire sensitive information such as usernames, passwords and credit card details by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication.

              I'm guessing this is some people taking advantage of the free infections going around. Ran into about 5 scammers when I was playing today

                                          I got into a room yesterday where there was super jumps and slow motion shooting. Nothing compares to the unlimited ammo glitch.
