ddrXero64's Pad Files - DDR Style

In order to download some of these an account on Bemanistyle may be required. I am not going to upload each file individually.

    Holography

First file since restarting my simfile stepping "career." It is pad, and was made to fulfill a request. I stepped the full song, which some padders don't like. As if that mattered. Very good I think for my first file, and the only issues someone has had other than length were the length of some holds being too close.

    Hard - 10
    Medium - 8
    Easy - 5

    Girls, Be Ambitious

My 2nd file ever stepped, was going to be submitted to a pack that was cancelled. It is available only as a single download at the moment, may be submitted to a pack soon. A pad file based on the ending of my favorite anime of all time.

    Hard - 9
    Medium - 7
    Easy - 5

    Friday (8 Bit Parody)

My 3rd file stepped for my own fun. A pad file based on the parody of Rebecca Black's "Friday," by none other than my favorite youtuber of all time DashieXP. A link will go up soon, I am stepping alternate charts to make it a complete simfile.

    Hard - 10
    Medium - 9
    Easy - 5
    Beginner - 2

Epic Sax Guy (Drum and Bass Remix)

My 4th file, stepped for my own fun as well. This is my first ever index file.

    Heavy - 12

    Puzzle

My 5th file, stepped for pad. It is my first cut version to be stepped. NuclearToast from VM has a video of himself playing this on an ITG machine as well.

    Hard - 9
    Medium - 7
    Easy - 4

    Heaven's Rave

Heaven's Rave, my 6th file and my 2nd ever index file. Personally I believe it was as good as the first, with a better song choice. Many enjoyed this file more than my first index file. It's also claimed as Eze's favorite file stepped by me. Full length and pretty epic.

    Hard - 12

    One Master Blade

My 7th file, never quite finished. It was meant to replicate the feeling of Max 300 with the first half of Healing D Vision (oni chart). It is very much two songs in one file, same song with a different vibe at one point. It should have more charts and a better banner and BG. A released link was never made.

    Hard - 10
    Medium - ???
    Easy - ???

    Lifeworks

This is my 3rd and proudest index file, my 8th simfile made. This personally my favorite index file I've made. I worked hard on the banner as well relating the BG and banner to the song title, seeing how life just works itself out. A "no worries" type of attitude. The file is very charismatic and requires stamina. Suited for index, there is a side biased section spread players may find annoying.

    Hard - 12

Better Off Alone (Hard Trance Remix)

My 9th simfile, Better Off Alone (Hard Trance Remix) is the first simfile to be introduced in my GuD Index Minipack. Very generic, and is meant to be playable and enjoyable by pad, index and spread players alike. It was my intentions to make an impact similar to the file Uber Rave as stepped by JOE.

    Hard - 11

Better Off Alone (DJ Opaix Remix)

My 10th simfile and second simfile added to the GuD pack. Better Off Alone (DJ Opaix Remix) focused on associating the arrows with volume rather than pitch. This was also practiced in my file Lifeworks, but has more of an impact on this file. Index oriented.

    Hard - 12

In a Dream (DJ Sl vs Rockell)

My 11th file, 3rd in the pack. This edgy remix is stepped for index as well, focusing on a biased body direction and teaching some easy crossover sightreading for the new indexer. Short and sweet and to the point.

    Challenge - 11

    Go To Your Heart

My 12th file, 4th in the pack. This file is pure stamina for the indexer. It mixes abusive changes in body direction with staircase patterns to create long and unpredictable index patterns. It also uses a great emphasis on one finger hold based index patterns, and offbeat but on rhythm patterns. Long file, quite the song to finish.

    Hard - 12

    FRIDAY

This 10 second file is a joke file based again on Rebecca Black's "Friday." It is the ending to Nigahiga's Off The Pill video of Rebecca Black.

    Edit - 20
    Challenge - 15
    Hard - 12
    Medium - 8
    Easy - 4
    Beginner - 1

    Fusion Hardstyle

My 14th file, stepped as a personal request by darkzero130. A link is not available yet. It is a pad song with 4 charts, stepped up to the 4 minute mark.

    Hard - 10
    Medium - 7
    Easy - 5
    Novice - 2

    Reptile

My 15th file, the infamous Reptile by electro dubstep artist Skrillex. Due to its timing it received a lot of attention, many requested a more pad friendly version. That has yet to happen, but the original file is always up for download. Made for index, very different style and admittedly no Xmod gimmicks.

    Hard - 12

Take On Me (Happy Hardcore Remix)

My 16th file, and 8th index file. It's a remix of a remix, full length and my longest file to date. It's a Happy Hardcore Remix of Vocaloid Kaito singing Take on Me by A-ha.

    Hard - 13

    Jump

A pad/index file stepped for Jump by DJ Gammer. This is my 17th file. It has not yet been completed and does not have a link.

    Hard - 12

    Miracle Paint

This is my 18th file, my first time listening and stepping a Vocaloid Gachapoid file. It is stepped for spread (my first spread chart) and pad, no index charts surprisingly. It also has an edit, the exact replica of the pad challenge chart but with added mines. The hard chart is the spread chart.

    Edit - 12
    Challenge - 11
    Hard - 11

My Name is Skrillex (Skrillex Remix)

My 19th file, not yet completed. Yup, I've worked on this one at one point, never went back to it. I need to fix some small patterns in the current chart and finish stepping it or create alternate charts. No link is yet available. It is meant for pad.

    Hard - 11

    Are You Ready For This?

This is my 20th file, though this file has been made as early as the GuD files in May. Reason for this late release was just confidence. Speaking in technical this is my very first spread file. I played it often to improve my jumpstream. No link is yet available.

    Challenge - 11

    Ai Kotoba

This is my 21st file, a pad request stepped from Vocamania. This is a clean cut file and is my first released file to feature a video. It is stepped for multiple charts.

    Hard - 8
    Medium - 7
    Easy - 5
    Novice - 2

    Girls, Be Ambitious (Exit Trance)

A submission to xanox's Exit Trance pack. No link is released, file is planned to undergo pattern changes. This is my 22nd file.

    I'm Gachapoid

This is my 23rd file. This song is stepped for both index (hard) and spread (challenge), and is one of Gachapoid's debut songs.

    Challenge - 12
    Hard - 11

    Uninstall

My 24th file. This is a cover of Uninstall as performed by Kasane Teto. It is stepped for spread and pad charts. The challenge is spread and the others are pad charts.

    Challenge - 11
    Hard - 10
    Medium - 8
    Easy - 5

    First of the Year (Equinox)

My 25th file. A pad file for Skrillex's song. It is being worked on, GFX are not yet provided. Multiple charts are planned to be created.

    I Remember

This file is my first 6Key file, it being my 26th file. It will also have 4Key charts. It is still being worked on, not yet released.

    Mirelle's OP

A troll file I made, it purposely breaks many stepping rules and etiquette. This is my 27th file.

    Novice - 3

    Paranoid New Life

Unofficial index sequel to Lifeworks, this song is also by Hatsune Miku and my 28th file. It's at 150 BPM versus the 200 BPM prequel, but has a lot more runs and is stepped in an eccentric way. Not my proudest work, but eh, it's w/e. It needs banner work at the moment and is unavaiable for download.

    Challenge - 11

    Samurai Heart

My first pad file in awhile! Stepped for Otaku's Dream 2nd Pad Mix as a submission, I found the song when someone requested it here. It had a good sound to it, so I stepped the TV edit for pad and I'm thinking about stepping full for spread. No link yet, as it's a submission. Thanks to Allen_Kanda for GFX. 29th file, oh yeah.

    Expert - 10
    Medium - 8
    Basic - 5
    Novice - 3

These are all my files so far.

Played One Master Blade and Puzzle. Not bad at all. I'm not really a fan of the vocaloid stuff, but the Heavy chart in Puzzle was pretty fun. I was a little bit thrown off by the bpm change at the end though, you probably could have kept it at the steady 85bpm and it would have been just as good.

OMB was a nice too, its one of a few hardstyle songs I have enjoyed playing since I got SM, honestly. Maybe not quite a 10, since I thought that the only real difficult part were the step jumps during the gallop section, but still a fun chart.

Thanks. I actually started with Vocaloid because I was submitting to Vocamania's pack as a nice gesture. They were very small, just wanted to contribute. Since then I've seen some enjoyable vocaloid, but I want to step all kinds of music. As many genres as I regularly listen to, which from my profile you can tell is a lot. Thanks for the comments.

OMB is really one of those overrated 10 footers, kind of like Sakura. But it appeals as a 10 footer. A lot of it is in presentation too. These are very early simfiles, and I planned to start simfiles now where beg-hvy are pad and challenge is index. I think I step index fairly well, and it's an underrated style of play. First song to combine these difficulties won't be out too soon.

I've only stepped two, they're somewhere in this subforum. Heaven's Rave for a newgrounds collab pack VCP 5 preview Lifeworks, which had a great solo to step.

You know what I think hasn't been done yet? A really long song, like marathon song, in awesome index style. I found a really interesting song (happy hardcore remix of it) over 6 minutes that I downloaded and plan to step index. My longest is Heaven's Rave which was challenging, because the song itself is very consistent. But this one varies more, it should be fun to step.

I really can't wait to step it, it'll definitely be released as soon as its done.

Re: ddrXero64's Pad Files - DDR Style

I've updated this thread a bit. As for significant changes I no longer only create pad files, so this thread is for all my files.
