    Water Miku

    I gave up projecting refraction by imagination half way through lol
    so some parts look awkward, but not likely to change anything.

    BG is photo, obviously, and there was a water drop that i painted over (not the one miku is on right now)



    It was pretty hard work but turned out to something I like at least.
    Reminder for self to make new sig.

                              was going for a back arching pose, but its like impossible for me to make that clear when the character is clear, there are like no normal shadows to show that so I dont really know how to.

                                  Its the way ahead are hing then that makes here look like she's standing up straight. I'll see if I can draw up a reference picture when I get home

                                      I like this, pretty unique

                                      One comment, you gave a sorta wrinkly clothed texture on some surfaces(e.g. the thigh/sleeves/hair); IMO perhaps it might be better to keep them smooth to keep with the flow (comparing with the smooth water ripples beneath), like a glass sculpture?

                                          Those are wrinkly refractions of the wave that the drop created, and the refraction from a lower surface will angle in a little flatter, and observe the true droplet at the bottom connected to the surface, it shows 1 clear ripple but thats because its below the vertex of the first closest ripple.
                                          What I had trouble with was 2 layers of water with irregular shape i think, but i cant say for sure.

                                              My only two comments on this are:

                                              The stands of "hair" where her hair parts, it's like a perfect point I don't even think water could even take that shape naturally. Droplets always WANT to be as round as possible.

                                              The boobs. They're way too round. despite the above statement...make those less round haha.

                                                  I was trying to go with the bumppy kind of surface instead of sharp, kinda failed on the refraction there.

                                                  as for the boobs, yeah I have no excuse but lol it confuses me trying to define shapes with refractions
