This is by no means an exhaustive list, but these are some memorable ones of mine.
I'll start with a piece called "City of the Ancients" from a game called Lands of Lore: Guardians of Destiny. This is the song that plays during the last "stage" of the game -- after you manage to raise the ancient city from the oceans:
From Mechwarrior 2 -- Mech Startup and song other pretty cool songs:
My favorite song from Red Alert, called Radio 2
Can't forget Hell March from the same game:
Final Fantasy VII - JENOVA
Some awesome boss music from SMRPG:
The song that usually accompanied bramble levels in DKC2:
Gerudo Valley from OOT!
But really, almost everyone remembers this one:
Facility theme from Goldeneye
An AWESOME song from Descent 2 that was way ahead of its time: Crawl. One of the coolest lead-ins ever, and it's just a kick-ass song to destroy shit to.
From a lesser-known game called The Last Express, this is the ending-credits song... absolutely heart-wrenching ending, this game has. XD
E2M1 from Doom
I always used to push the button in Lara's Manor in Tomb Raider 2 just to hear this song
There's just always something epic about Max 300. Awesome song, awesome chart, awesome adrenaline-rush. Passing this for the first time is always a huge milestone.
I also have a hard time listening to these songs without hearing the accompanying video game noises playing alongside in my mind. XD
