    The Hobbit

    i surely cannot be the only one who is waiting for this movie to come out and maintain the idea that there will be some differences between movie and book despite the two part split.

    also discuss the book and possibilities of the movie (pros/cons) despite that its not out yet and lord of the rings in general as well to help connect the story for anyone who might be interested but has not gone deep enough to fully understand the why aspect.

      I don't know... Me personally I'd much rather see Children of Hurin turned into a movie. I loved that freakin book.

          I remember when I was assigned to read The Hobbit back in middle school. Everyone else went on and on about how much they hated it/didn't understand it but I loved it. I would love to see it on screen.
          The weight of what I say depends on how you feel.

                  I hear Martin Freeman is playing as Bilbo and actors such as James Nesbitt and Michael Fassbender will be in the film too - great actors so far. I think Christopher Lee is returning as Saruman and Ian McKellen as Galdalf too.

                  I also remember reading that Peter Jackson has the intention of turning the children's book into a much darker tale, accessible for adult viewers as well. What ever the case may be, I'm excited.

                      The hobbit was pretty dark. An excellent story to. I can't wait to see the adaptation.
