I Wanna Be The Derp: the tournament

The first half of the tournament will be structured as follows:

There will be six objectives for each round. Each team must assign each of its members to work on one (and only one) of the objectives given. Any teams with only five members right now, don't freak out, I can guarantee you'll have at least six after I figure out who wasn't added to a team. Any teams with more than six members...I dunno, fuccen...lemme think for a sec...k, any teams with more than six members can have two members double up working towards the same objective (only the better score between the two will be taken into consideration). The members of each team working on Objective A will be in competition with all other members on opposing teams working on the same objective.

Placing first for your team in a particular objective will net you 5 points for your team. Second, 4. Third, 3. Fourth, 2. Fifth, 1. Sixth and onwards, nada. The three teams with the highest point totals at the end of each round will be exempt from voting to boot off who they think was their most useless member (lawl). The other seven teams...vote to boot off your most useless member. No PMs, please, just post in the thread...TWG style

How to SS:

1. Press the Print Screen button on your keyboard.
2. Go to paint.
3. Go to edit then paste or Ctrl + V.
4. Save the score.
5. Go to photobucket or imageshack and upload that image.
6. Copy the IMG code and paste it on your post.

The nature of this tournament
This tournament is designed to test an extremely wide variety of skills. Most of the time you will not require pure FFR skill to advance, but rather will need to work at the current goal. MOST rounds will last around 3 days!

Example:
Round 1 has started!
Team 5 : Must attempt to get x total score on y song
Team 1 : Must try to a certain PA score on z song

It is impossible to provide a description of all skills that will be tested as this would spoil the tournament atmosphere and overall design. The important thing is you always work towards the goal to avoid elimination of your teammates.

Eliminations
Teams that fail to be the winner of the round will be required (In MOST cases) to boot off a member of their team. This will be done through a number of ways and will be made apparent when it is necessary.

Prizes:
The winner of this tournament will receive their own OP produced by host members of this tournament. However, earning the spot as the winner will be no easy feat, as the sheer difficulty of earning this place is incredible.

Round Two, kids

For this round, each team member will be responsible for a 'Req Bundle'. Each 'Req Bundle' will contain two objectives which both need to be completed to the greatest ability of that team member before the end of the round. Again, five points for first place, four for second, three, two, one, nada for 6-10.

Req Bundle #1

Objective A: Get as close to 1,000,000 points on Floating Hour as possible. Scores posted must be a pass of the file.


Objective B: Create the body for your favorite FFR character in MS Paint!
For example:


Hosts will judge each masterpiece on an incredibly detailed grading system including categories for realism, sex appeal, and derp.

Req Bundle #2

Objective A: Play Rumia, Sealed Youkai of the Night. No gimmicks, pure FFR. Beat everyone else.


Objective B: Insult Superfreak04 on his profile wall without swearing! Players are allowed a 50 word maximum per post and may post an insult up to three times. The top five insults will be awarded points. It is possible for one player to place multiple times within the top five.

Req Bundle #3

Objective A: Get the highest possible misscount on RATO while still passing the file.


Objective B: Write a short paragraph in this thread explaining to the hosts why you deserve to place first for this objective. Yes, I'm fuccen serious.

Req Bundle #4

Objective A: Play Caixa D'aqua on tornado. Players will be ranked in accordance with raw score.


Objective B: Along with your score, post something that will make Jteh laugh. Jteh will award points accordingly.

Req Bundle #5

Objective A: Obtain the highest score on {Big Boss} using the following scoring system:
Perfects = 1 point, Goods = 2 points, Averages = 3 points, Misses = 4 points, Boos = 5 points
(if # of Boos > # of Misses > # of Avs > # of Goods > # of Perfs in your SS, we'll double your score)

Objective B: Find the dumbest post you can from 2010 or earlier, and post this with your score.

Bonus Objective for any team member to complete:

Have your daily stats display exactly 1,600 Perfects hit, 0 Goods hit, 0 Averages hit, 0 Misses, 0 Boos Hit, 50 AAAs, 50 FCs, and 1,600 Arrows hit

First team member to post a SS fulfilling those requirements will auto-win five points for his or her team, after which no other players will receive points for fulfilling this req.

ROUND ONE

Round 1 ends Thursday, January 27, 11:59 pm server time

Objective #1

Get as close to 1,000,000 total points on any song (and pass)

Objective #2

Play Coactive. No gimmicks, pure FFR. Beat everyone else.

Objective #3

Get the highest score on The Adventures of Lolo using the following scoring system:
(Perfs-Goods)*(Goods-Avs)*(Avs-Misses)*(Misses-Boos)

e.g. a score of 300-100-64-60-100 will be given a score of (300-100)*(100-64)*(64-60)*(60-100) = -1,152,000

(yeah guys, try to avoid negative scores, they're not good )

Objective #4

Get as close to 100-100-100-100-100 on Rericked as possible
(best possible score will be 0, players will lose one point for the absolute difference between the numbers for each of their judgment values and 100)

e.g. a score of 170-105-95-30-65 will be given a score of (170-100)+(105-100)+(100-95)+(100-30)+(100-65) = 185

Objective #5

Play Clockwork. No gimmicks, pure FFR. Beat everyone else.

Objective #6

Play Hanabi on x4. Players will be ranked by raw score.

Objective #7

Get the highest score on Chlorophyll using the following scoring system:
(Goods*Avs)-(Perfs*Misses)

e.g. a score of 300-450-222-222-50 will be given a score of (450*222)-(300*222) = 33,300

Alright, the instant that a team member posts a score for one of these seven songs, they will only be allowed to post scores for that particular objective. So basically, no switching objectives with teammates that have already posted scores for a particular objective. Teams 9 and 10 may choose one member to submit for two objectives since they have less members than objectives.

If any of the other hosts have problems with my Round 1 reqs........eh, sorry guys, I was really bored and felt like starting this shit, I'll give you guys total creative control over the next two or three rounds if you guys are legit mad haha
