Tournament Setup

Each round deadline, your scores will be added to your total. Your total then determines where you rank within the participants. Think of it as a stepmania league. There will be 8 rounds with 3 files played. The links for the files will be shown here in this first post every round. Respect the deadlines and you'll stay in. Fail to submit your 3 scores by the deadline, you get eliminated. You may only submit your finals scores once, so choose wisely. Scores will be added to your total, so nobody gets eliminated until the end. Have a bad round? No problem! You have next round to redeem yourself. Rounds will get progressively harder, so if MA isn't your thing, you may see yourself going up in ranks later on, so don't drop out. Only sign up if you're able to commit a certain amount of time per week to play in this. Mines can be turned off since I know a good deal of people here are more used to ffr's style of play/tournament.
Scores will work as follows:
7 points for Fantastic/Marvellous
5 points for perfect
3 points for great
-5 points for ANY cbs, good, bad and miss
This way, combos are very crucial and people won't be able to MAsh their way to the finals.
Tournament Round Deadlines
4th round: February 2nd
5th round: February 6th
6th round: February 10th
Playoffs
At the end of regular season, the top 8 players will duke it out to win in the finals. At this point, players will be facing each other in a tournament bracket style competition. Seeds will be placed in the bracket accordingly and scores will be added per round; this means after each round, your total doesn't add up. You either win or you lose. This is a sudden death match with quarterfinals, semifinals and the finals with the two remaining players from the brackets. The dates for the playoffs will be posted once regular season is over.
