    Metal Pad Reccomendations

I'm gonna buy a metal pad for stepmania/xbox 360. Several strike me as good value but I don't know how well they function. Anybody have any experience with them? I want to spend $100-$200 with shipping. I want bars but I don't think I'm gonna buy it with them since I can build my own that are better and way cheaper. One that catches my eye is the iON pad since it is brand new and has metal arrows too. Not too expensive: just around 200 shipped. I can probably find it cheaper.
    eBay item: 220616398026

Any other recommendations/experience with the iON pads?
    Thanks in advance! :3

Cobalt Flux, but you won't be able to get a decent pad without spending about $400.

Answer I gave someone else. Good pad if your budget is limited, and it has a bar as well.

That's what I was afraid of. I think, from what I've read, the TX-1501 (XPG-3000) is gonna be the best for my price range. With a foil mod it should be pretty good for a while. Unless I can a find a reputable dealer with a cheaper price than this, I'm gonna buy it here.
Only $34 for shipping, pretty sweet deal.

No bar, but I can make one myself.

What do you think? Good review here.

Cool beans. I ordered one from the site in my previous post, total is just around $200 with shipping. Pad is new.

I'll post a mini-review once I get it if anyone cares

                Re: Metal Pad Reccomendations

I recently ordered the iON metal dance pad with handle bar support from Komusa Technology.
The specs are located here: http://www.komusa.com/dadareionarm.html

This is what it looks like.

I just checked the shipment status and it shows that it is waiting to be picked up from the Komusa, but the order is processed.
It might be a few days for me to actually receive it.

Would you like me to post an update telling you what I think of it?

                  Re: Metal Pad Reccomendations

The ION is a good pad for someone who plays DDR seriously, but an ITG player would find that pad fairly uncomfortable due to a lack of recession in between the panels.
