I've been on the regional rankings page a few times and i have yet to see my rank change at all.

If you want your regional rank (aka average rank) to go up, go to your profile and click the circled tab:
Then go back to your profile to see that your average rank (or regional rank) has gone up.

The regional ranking is based off your average rank. ;D

what exactly is the regional rank?
i noticed now that i AAA'd some of the easy songs, my average rank is better, and now my regional has changed.

Regional rank is how you place among other people in your area of the world.
For example: My region is USA - MidAtlantic. My average score is compared to all of the other people who also live in this region and I get a rank based off of how well I stack up. My regional rank is 42 ^__^Glorious Morning - Misc, level 48
