    Recommend a good, cheap netbook for me

    I am buying a netbook for a friend who is really into blogging/picture-sharing/etc. I'd like to get one that's no more than $400-$500 in price, has a decent hard-drive (at least 250 GB), and isn't Dell/Sony/Toshiba. I am not sure if 1 GB is enough for a netbook (would 2 make a huge difference)? Also, the prettier the better.

    Any tips?

      I haven't seen all that many 2GB netbooks on the market.

      I particularly like this one, because many netbooks on the market have DDR2 ram. Otherwise, it shares similar specs from most netbooks, has the standard 250 GB harddrive, and is in the area you want.

                  That's actually a pretty strong netbook. W7 HP + 2GB DDR 3 is a huge turn-on and the card-reader makes for a great portable media center. Battery life is not bad either.

                  I'd go for it.

                  EDIT: didn't notice that my recommendation had W7 Starter D:

                              I got my dell netbook for 300. they don't make 9 inchers anymore tho
