    [Rec]2 - *Quarantine 2

    Just watched it. Gave me a new respect about an hour in for hating women.

    But I liked it. I liked the first one and even though I saw a lot of the stuff coming I still enjoyed it.

    Going backwards now, I was actually really annoyed how [rec] was copied word for word, scene for exact goddamn scene. I mean, there are Americanized versions of movies but this was just the EXACT same thing with different people. I just don't see the point. Can anyone enlighten me?

    It can't be something so simple as Americans want to see American actors can it?

      I haven't seen rec 2 but its definitely on my to watch list. As far as your question, yes that's the whole reason. Perfect example of this is death at a funeral

          Movie was not that great.
          Everyone says the British version was better though.

              I was extremely outraged at Quarantine. Rec was brilliant and Rec2 was pretty good, just a lot less believable for me.

              I thought it was awesome how they brought back the chick from the first one, although I totally saw the ending coming...

              Overall, though, way better than any American horror movie recently. I mean Quarantine WTF? Ruin the ending in the trailer? Right way to go. I watched Quarantine only to see how it differed from Rec and I could barely stand watching it. Literally the exact same movie (with minor differences that DO NOT improve the film) with a different set.

              Another note on Rec2, the introduction of demons freaked the shit out of me, however inconsistent it was with the first film.

                  I will watch it tonight =]. REC was incredibly awesome. I mean, I bought everything the reporter was saying (I'm hispanic so that helps even more). The acting was brilliant, being a low budget movie it says gtfo to multimillion dollar movies. So, is there actually going to be a quaransh1t 2?

                      Apparently.

                      Those damn Americans. I guess it's not going to be a remake of Rec2... It's going to be set in an airport? Demons On a Plane? Where's Jackson when you need him? Haha
