    Ridiculous lag

    So yeah, FFR lags horribly on Windows 7, any way around that?

    No, I don't have a slow processor or low on RAM, have a Phemon II X4 and 8GB DDR3.

    Worked perfectly on my ****ty old computer, but lags on my new one.

          Go to Computer>System Properties>advanced system settings>performance>settings>and set it do "adjust for best performance"

          It will look dull and not have the nice looks, but runs FFR better.


          Then run the game on a standalone for additional performance

              Just temporarily change your visual appearance to classic theme and it will run a bit better.

                  Or manage your startup configuration, so it won't F*ck with your disk activity. While you're at it, disable services you don't need. You can Google it.

                      Just rightclick on the FFR window and uncheck "Enable hardware acceleration". Fixes the lagginess for me perfectly.
