    Never stops amazing me.
    Apparently we can sue someone who hasn't even gotten a basic concept to even attempt to read the court documents.

    This is some bull **** right here people. We should just sue a 4 year old every time they mistakenly do something like run into someone. What's next, suing a 4 year old because they ran into a wall in the house of a friend and managed to put a small hole in it?

    These people suck.

      Seems like the elderly woman herself should have opened the case as opposed to her estate/successors. You have to have some balls to sue a 4 year old, you'd be the laughing stock of the country. What do they expect to get out of this 4 year old anyway? it's not like she can work for the next 12 years, money won't be an option.

          I hate when our society tries to put a stamp on things...like the exact age a child can be held accountable for negligence. So if the chilldren were a few months younger or older their mental capacities are that far impacted? I understand that we need to set guidelines for the court system but this seems almost ridiculous...they are only children. The parents should be held accountable for that woman's injuries because they are responsible for their child's actions while they are supervising their children. You can't allow children to race on their bicycles while there are other people walking around. I'm sure this is just a tragic accident, but in this country you can sue for basically anything....and in the case of injury sometimes you have to to pay for medical bills. As far as her estate suing? I'm assuming that consists of very upset family members? I can't imagine they think they will get much $$$ out of a four year old.

              The girls should've played FFR to increase their hand & eye coordination skills.

              Then it wouldn't have happened.

                          I don't understand the reason for bringing the lawsuit against the child rather than the mother. It's like if a dog bites someone you don't sue the dog, you sue the owner.

                                              Bullies need to think twice about taking lunch money from now on. Suing for $25 in lost lunch money + $120,000 in emotional damages.

                                                      If this ever goes through, I imagine that adults will be suing children for some random reason. Seriously, though, this is a stupid argument, and a stupid reason to sue a 4-year old who really doesn't KNOW any better.

                                                          Stupid kids shouldn't have been on their stupid bicycles. Don't they understand that being four years old doesn't get you off the hook of assaulting a poor old stupid woman? What stupid children, they hardly understand the concept of right and wrong, I mean really, how stupid can you get?

                                                          Also I thought it was really ridiculous that the judge thought all 4 year old's are like geniuses and think like adults.
