    About profile backgrounds

    I was thinking...



    Is there a way of doing a "static background" option for profiles? I mean, look at Twitter: The profile background doesn't move, while the rest does. It'd be good to avoid misfitting backgrounds and too much work for people. Maybe it sounds like laziness, but I really think it'd be a good idea for profiles, and for members who do backgrounds for credits.

      I'm fairly certain this has been brought up before. I don't know how feasible it is. I'll let the powers that be know that it's something the people want.

      However, remember that any new features won't happen for a while with all the fixing going on right now.

          I think it would depend on how the profile is generated. You can do some things in css that you can't in html or php or whatever.

              Yes, I do remember that the site is under serious maintenance, that's why I posted this as a suggestion. But, thanks for the answer.

                  Seems like an option. I'll forward this/get some people on the dev team to look at it. Like it was said though, there are other priorities before this.
