I have a guitar, a Zoom GFX-707 amp/pedal, and a Plantronics DSP-500 USB headset. Now, time to make them play nice together.
Here's the thing. When I'm trying to record, I can't hear my guitar over the headset. Be assured, I have all the input/output settings correct (as much as I can get them) and the sound DOES record. Once I finish recording, I can play them back and I can hear it just fine. But, it's WHILE I'm playing that I can't hear anything.
So I've determined that it DOES input, and the headphones DO output. The headphones just don't output what's being input.....Someone suggested that I can only use one at a time. I tested this by playing an MP3 in WinAmp while recording, and everything still worked fine.
So for some reason, the headphones will not output the sound that is being input via my sound card (Hercules Game Theater XP). But, once the sound is recorded, it will play back through the headphones without problem.
Any ideas?
