          turn off aero when you play dumbass the glass theme in windows makes the graphics delay a bit, if not lag, so turn it off and then you'll be back

                  Soooo many things you can do to fix this. First of all, move your stepmania folder outside of Program Files eg. Documents, you can't save screenshots there because of Vista's permission bull****. Second of all, turn off Aero, glass etc. and use Windows Classic. It's not gonna look so good, but sm should run MUCH better. OOOOORRRRR, if you know how to install a new hard drive, get a new hard drive and install XP on it.

                                              Yeah, when im at my bros house, I can't play stepmania on vista at all, but can run it on 7 smoothly with no probs at all
