Pyroshock - High Current [Intelli-Trance? Or something]

Finally able to finish songs again. Guess I'm getting back in the music mood.

Really don't know what sub-genre this is, just was having fun making it and experimenting. I kind of wish I could've made it more through-composed though.

Available for listen and download on the Rithum page:

Also on Newgrounds if you prefer, and you can also rate it:

      Out of curiosity 5/4 signature?
Regardless, it was pretty neat, I wasn't a fan on that slidy synth - but that's just me. I though the rest was really chill and was mixed pretty well.
      Good job, really awesome. . . .
I'd say sort of breakbeat techo or whatever hehe.
PS, 5/4 is one of the only time signatures I can't seem to make. I'm WELL JEALOUS xD.

Seems a little IDM for me, idk.
        Well, review time:

Really nice synth using, man, it made me smile, lol, sick drum kicks and stuff too. But... Don't you think this kind of melody seems a little better with a regular 4/4 than with broken measures? Idk, I really think a 4/4 would be great for the synth. I suggest a test.

Anyway, good track, man, keep it up.

Thanks. Haha I can sympathize with the 5/4 thing, I've tried many times before but this is the first song I've gotten not to sound completely forced in 5/4.

Thank you! I'm not sure what you mean about the melody seeming better in 4/4 though, but I'd be glad to try a test.

Just keep the synth, but test it with a regular 4/4 beat, got it?

OK I assume you mean do quarter note kicks but still in 5/4, instead of fitting in four kicks in a 5/4 measure, which would sound super awkward without reworking the melody a lot.

It does sound pretty good with quarter note kicks though, I might make that into some kind of remix.
