How is your skill affected when not wearing glasses? I found out just how terrible my eyesight is, so I'm looking for something to inexplicitly justify my slow progress so I can feel better about my worth as a human being.

Re: For those of you who wear glasses. . .
For me it makes a big difference.
It's better when I don't have them on.
1-I'm not really that nearsighted -___-
2-I can't stand my nerves[literally, my nerve cells] being barraged by too many things at once. I can't wear my watch, I can't have anything other than flat ground touch my feet, and I can't have heavy hunks of glass on my nose either. This crap blows off on my concentration.
Feel several different pains, before they're colored pure red

pretty much this for me
difference in contacts vs glasses is minimal as long as you don't change from one to the other right before playingComment

No...just no
I as well as a friend have contacts, both soft ones, and they dry out after like 30 secs of playing (seriously..) simply because you can't blink enough on high level songs....
I play fine with contacts the first 20 seconds, I play fine with old crummy glasses on (which are like .25 or .5 points off), and horrible without anything.Comment

Re: For those of you who wear glasses. . .
This is exactly my point of view. Since you do not blink often when playing, it's best to play without contacts since your eyes will dry up and so will your contacts, rendering your eyesight a bit blurry.No...just no

When I play with glasses on the other hand, I don't have contacts and so they don't get in the way and so I can play normally.Comment

I play with my glasses cause I can not wear contacts.
I personally don't find any difficulties with wearing my glasses and playing.Originally posted by PhynxI'm a total asshole, if I had the chance to shove a razor blade dildo up your ass... I would... and I'd laugh while doing it.Comment

Re: For those of you who wear glasses. . .
i have glasses (and really need them) but i don't wear them due to the inconvenience that they are
i have huge problems keeping my eyes open when playing ffr; my eyes also tend to tear a lot. when i play with glasses, it's better, but the glasses get in my way and i get worse scores lolOriginally posted by DossarLX ODIWhat's the point of using drugs anyways? I heard they help you relax but that's pretty much it. (Not talking about medicines)Comment

My contacts have never dried out for me while playing, but I never take mine out. I've had this pair in for 4 months (yes, they are the disposable ones).Какой идиот придумал Бутерброд с дикобраза? Он хулиган и бездельник.Comment

Re: For those of you who wear glasses. . .
Taking them off helps for Synthlight files and ones with the squares in the background. There's a few other songs I play without 'em and I can AAA a little without 'em. They don't wreck my PA at all when they're off.Comment

I can play with them on or off, but I prefer to have them off. My scores don't change or vary whether or not I'm wearing them.Comment
