    Use keys for genre select and song selection

    I'm curious about this one, and I want to see how it flies with you guys.

    How about having the option to navigate the genre select and song selection with just your defined arrow keys? This would make it totally unnecessary to use your mouse, and for people that take their KB away from the mouse (I play on a desktop, and this is what I do), it would be mighty convenient.

          I'm well aware that keyboard navigation is in SM, and I'm well aware that there are people out there that don't like FFR being too much like SM, me being one of them. Mind you, I find it troublesome to have to have a mouse just to play FFR. What if I didn't want to use a mouse at all?

              I think it's a good idea, I wouldn't really use it because I think it's faster to use a mouse but that's just me.

                  Actually, in some cases, it will be faster to use a mouse. I can get from genre select to the song I want to play in said genre in about 5-10 seconds, depending on what genre and how far I have to scroll.

                  You're right... I'm actually curious now to see what method would be faster :P

                      Yeah, it would take a little longer, but I guess it's for the lazy people who don't feel like using a mouse. Since there are so many songs per genre, it would take a while to choose a song.

                                  No one has complained in the past 5+ years about using a damn mouse for genre, why now? Lazy kids. Back in my day we didn't even have computers and had to use PENCIL AND PAPER.

                                      That option could be very optimizing, and effective if combined, but I'd probably still stick with the good 'ole mousy.
