I have been noticing quite frequently, that when I go to link a playback of some really awesome progress in a song to someone, the playback looks different than what I actually accomplished. For instance, the last song I played (The Games We Played part 5) I had a 1119 combo and only one miss near the end, but the playback showed 14 misses and nowhere close to my 1119 combo. What's the deal?

It's always been like that, and whoever's supposed to fix it apparently doesn't mean to do it anytime soon.

The replays show average-misses. The in-game fix was implemented later, so they still appear in replays.
Before the fix... if the windows of two notes overlapped, instead of hitting the first one, you might have missed the first one and got an average on the second one.Last edited by Silvuh; 09-22-2009, 09:44 PM.

The simple explanation to new people goes like this:
"The replay engine is the same as an older version of the game engine that didn't work properly, so replays don't match up, someone will fix it eventually, don't hold your breath"Comment
