    FFR tabs being stolen away by banner(?) ads

    basically what I do is when I want to see what's new on the FFR forums I do a new posts search and open a new tab for every topic that interests me. often when I get around to reading them I find that one or two of them has been redirected to an ebay auction for sunglasses. anyone else experienced this?

    no we all use adblock or noscript

    You should do the same so long as the site has intrusive ads.

        Don't try to be ****ing clever. Noscript inherently blocks all intrusive ads alone, and adblock is capable of it as well. One does not need both to stop intrusive ads in their tracks.

          I don't block ads because that hurts the website.

          Though I'm a subscriber here.

            Same. I blocked them for the lulz, but I've been a somewhat subscriber.

            Also, use try use Firefox. There'll be less pop-ups.

            I AM ASHAMED OF MY STUPIDITY AND MUST COMMIT SEPPUKU. FORGIVE ME, FFR.

              Oh dear. Someone's angry.

              I wasn't being clever, I was being truthful, seeing as I use both.

              Get off my ass, would you?

                Keyword = You

                Don't put your personal preference of multiple use of add-ons to someone else's opinion thinking your correcting a mistake.

                You use both, and afro was clearly stating that either one would be fine.

                P.s. That has nothing to do with someone being rude to you. More of how you tried to correct something that wasn't wrong..

                  Yes, I get very angry when people spread misinformation.
