The Gregory Brothers (Auto-Tune the News)

The makers of "AutoTune the News" and other songs have given blanket permission to FFR.

    Examples of their music:

And a lot more. They are now fairly famous on the internet.

    "Re: song permission rights
Hey Joseph -- thanks for reaching out!

It'd be in honor to be featured on FFR--you certainly have my permission. It looks like we'd be among esteemed company!

You can find all the pertinent links in the video descriptions.

Thanks again, and let me know if you need anything else (i.e. mp3 files, etc.)--

    Michael"

If anyone wants to collab, I'm up for it. I've already got a rough chart for the JFK remix, which is my favorite.

Also, I have a pretty decent stepfile for http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3eooXNd0heM that I would love a collab on for refinement.

Okay, I've got Auto-tune 3 and 5 almost fully stepped. If anyone would be willing to test/collab for shared credit, that would be great.

is it like colour note vocal sync stuff or approximations?

I've already got the song BPM and most of it fully stepped. There's only a few small areas where I either could use sync help or simply can't step the notes in a way that "feels right".

More then 3/4ths of both songs are done, though. About 90%, in fact.

                    Interested?

Auto-Tune 3 is done... I think. Only two or three minor questionable notes.

Auto-tune 5 needs a bit of tweaking at the end, still looking for someone to test/collab.

So you know, we can play FFR, while being informed of world events.
