    My music, collectively

While I've been posting music here since.. well, since I started making music over 2 years ago, I don't really know what this community's overall opinion of my musical style is. I get a bit of feedback on individual songs when I post them here, but lately I've been curious as to what you guys think about my musical style as a whole.

Even though I placed third in the music contest last summer, for some reason I get the feeling that, because I usually follow a relatively mainstream variety of trance, I tend to get ignored in favor of the more experimental musicians here. I'm just wondering if anyone can give me some collective advice on my music. Am I doing anything wrong? Anything right? Is there anything I should change, start doing differently, stop doing altogether, etc? I'd be really interested in all of that.

Here are my three best songs for reference, if you don't know my musical style:

    Aquatopia
    Foreverland
    I Always Loved You

    Everything else is here: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/defa...?bandID=753276

    Thanks in advance

Your music is pretty good. I suggest you keep making music, you have the talent for it definatley. And since you came in 3rd, that's only more of a reason to strive for that number one spot. Don't give up, just keep doing what you do.

So I took a listen of the 3 you listened and I love that background sound that comes at the beginning of I Always Loved You and also comes in "earth" (Which I think is your best song I dunno why lol).

You got some really nice tracks here. I think you should keep it up and since you plcaed 3rd in a music contest last year, perhaps with your new experience with making more tracks you will place 1st this year.

Keep it up dude. You have a relatively distinct sound imo.

Why don't you have anything in the game yet? This stuff is great.

Maybe we don't have permission o.o
But if we someone step this man's works, seriously.

You have permission as long as I see the file before it's submitted, but do you honestly think any of my music is rhythmic enough for it?

I don't, but if you think so go ahead. I might even do a short cut of a song if someone really wants to step it.

          And thanks so far.

From my experiences, Ive noticed the other way around. I tend to not follow generic structure/sounds etc. At least I try not to, but even so I tend to get ignored alot. I have no idea what people here want, but just make music that I like, so meh :P, but it kind of feels like Ive been getting ignored less when I drift over in to the generic stuff :S... I dont like it :P

Anyways, from what Ive heard, your stuff is pretty rad man.

I've always liked listening to your stuff. Has a nice feel to each of your songs. Especially Aquatopia. :3

Mind making a short cut for FFR?
