    Comments on new song preview please?

    Hey I've got a preview of a new song for y'all, just wanted some overall comments and mainly wanted to know if you think the transition between intro and strings and strings to climax is alright

    Oh, and its levels are a little quiet right now so you might want to turn up your volume

                          I thought of another question I'd like someone to comment on. Do the dynamics in the string part sound natural and pleasant or kinda forced to you?

                                  Sounds pretty god (typing this as I'm listening) the only thing that's irking me is that little triplet (12th note/sm term) gallop in the percussion. Seems too... off-beat from the rest of the percussion you've got going on. It'd probably work if the rest of the beat was more irregular, but at the moment it just seems out of place. Loved the string progression in the middle, though I don't know how it fits with the rest of the song? Maybe if strings were added in during the whole of the song, then it would seem more logical to have that part in the middle. Sounds really good so far though, I wanna hear more. I loved that speed up part.

                                      I really don't think anyone cares that I'm bumping the thread every 5 days before it reaches the second page just because I'd like detailed comments before I continue. But thanks for your contribution to the topic, I'll keep that in mind.

                                      Thanks, I'm glad you like it! Is it both the hihat and clap triplets that are bothering you or just one of them? And never thought of the strings thing, I'll try incorporating some more of them in the other parts. Right now I was just aiming for some sort of epic string relax thing, you know? Glad you enjoyed the accelerando, I love that part too

                                      Oh, and I've got some more done, so I'll post some of that soon after I try incorporating more strings

                                          I'm not irked about the sound itself, but the rhythm. Your percussive beat loops every 4 measures. The rhythm I'm talking about is at the end of every second measure. You add in an 8th triplet which could sound cool if you add more abrasive or uneven rhythms like that in the percussion beats. Right now its just kinda of awkward with a random 8th triplet in there.

                                              Oh ok. Just wasn't sure if it was the quarter-eighth triplet, the three eighths one, or both that were bothersome

                                              I can't get strings to work out too well in the rest of the song yet but I'll find a way I think. Thinking about recording myself playing as well to add some more realism to the string part as well
