We designed characters for gamedesign, and they had to be sort of simple cause we were gonna model them in clay.
And after we made our character we learned how to color them in with photoshop at Art & Design class.
This is how it turned out.
(I haven't made a scene for my character yet so it's just a simple background.)

Some characteristics so you'd understand the character a bit more.
He's a warlord with a bad temper, and when something doesn't go his way he gets very worked up and acts a bit like a kid (imagine jumping around and steam coming from his uh.. helmet.. :l)
He's tiny so he gets picked on by other warlords which makes him angry as well etc.
Here it is without a background. The background was only to bring out some details like the red glow where the shadows are, which are barely noticable on a clear white background.

constructive criticism is always welcome.
