They're being released on the XBL Marketplace in two hours. Who's buying them? Personally, I've heard that Orbital sucks but both Sandbox and Assembly should make up for that.

Orbital isn't very good, it's confusing. Assembly is fun as hell though, I hope MLG uses it. Sandbox has infinite potential, so it's hard to judge it based off of the default map, which isn't very fun.

People have already remade many Halo 2 maps and made a lot of maps already, like Excavation, Tombstone, Warlock, etc. They're basically all really good.
Assembly is a good map. MLG will probably use it for Oddball.

Default Sandbox is crap. Assembly is pretty good. Orbital is sort of meh, but it depends on the gametype.

Yeah I love the maps, I guess im the only person who loves orbital. I think all of the maps are great, good balance on orbital, and balance on assembly. Sandox has a lot of potential. I did manage to download some sandbox creations, like the foundation remake, and a infection variant,"The Flying Dutchman", using pirate ships.

Haha, I played The Flying Dutchman. Teleporters are fail; they should've put planks from the Infection ship to the human ship, and from there, the Infected cause spawn on the real ship. Oh, and the high tower on top is broken. If you get up there, you're like invincible for the rest of the match.
Not to mention the creator of the map thought it'd be funny if he put a stupid ****ing spawn point under the level, so when you spawn, you instantly die. Yeah, very funny...Originally posted by Djr Rap dancerComment

DAMNIT. I have no money at the moment and I still need the legendary map pack. All I can do is whore team slayer and multi-team. MLG is kinda fun at times but I need more people in my clan who is good at MLG. P.S. Grifball is awesome!

Personally, I'm very excited about the new maps. I've yet to play them, but I know that my friends all have really good custom maps to play on already from getting the maps from Halo Wars. So this weekend, since I got my brother to DL the maps this week, I'm gonna be blasting up some Halo 3.
