Beat High Score to get FC credit?

    Beat High Score to get FC credit?

    Do you need to beat your own high score to get an FC credit?

    I just FCed Get on the Move, but got around rank 3000, with my old rank being 2500 or so....

    The score (which was 548,565) with the old rank didn't have an FC credit (though it must have been FCed)....

    If one doesn't do level update, does one not get credited for FCs (and probably AAAs)?

      yeah, you have to beat your old score and FC it for you to gte credit for the FC

          Alternatively--be careful on higher level songs that you may have to mash for. If you mash out an FC, and then beat that score with a non-FC, you'll lose it. Really unlikely situation, but can happen if you get a good non-mash score and miss near the end; you usually beat the mashed out score.

              you can also lose an fc by doing good on a song and missing in the last couple notes

                  Happened to me several times with Revo and Almost There.

                  One of the worst things that can happen while playing FFR in my opinion.

                  Tip: If you get a really good score and miss near at the end, don't boo-out. The chance is that score can still beat mash-FC scores. You have to close the browser before the song ends in order not to have that score recorded.
