    Soul Calibur I-IV

So ever since i got the very first soul calibur for dreamcast ive been a huge fan. I think i started off playing with ivy and xiaghau (cant really spell her name) and pretty much stuck with them. I did like soul calibur 2 more than one cause of the options you had as far as charachters and all that extra stuff. But yeah i was real disappointed with 3. I mean the whole create your own character was kool but the graphics werent as good. It just didnt have that soul calibur look. But i havent had the chance to play 4 (im broke.) but if have anything to say about it go ahead and post.

I could spend the beginning correcting your grammar and spelling, but I'll let Devonin handle that one.

My favorite in the series is Soulcalibur IV. I don't exactly like the Star Wars characters, rather, what charmed me was an engaging creation, customization, and leveling system that failed in III. Every piece of equipment has a practical purpose in IV, affecting everything from style to abilities, whereas in III it was all for looks. Also, I was immediately favorable to the online play.

II is my second favorite. Sorry Nintendo, but the GC version was not kind to me. I preferred the PS2/XBox versions.

III is my least favorite for three reasons. One, the creation system was a big waste to me. Two, the graphics and game didn't run that smoothly. Three, it was a PS2 exclusive. The whole thing just felt rushed, and the exclusivity really hindered people on other systems who needed a dose of ass-whooping. Soul Edge and SC I were better than this. I felt shame from paying $50 for it.

I agree that Soul Calibur IV is the best of the series, however one gripe for me was that there was no option for turning off equipment breaking. I mean sometimes in the middle of a fight someone gets stripped down to there undies and I can't help but just laugh at the sight or gock at it. It kind of makes the fight seem less serious I guess. Its a very small gripe, but it would have been nice to have it be optional.
