    HurriKane X (Freeform Mix)

Well, HurriKane X was made back in October, and it's still my most popular song. Since it seems to be everyone's favorite, I decided to recreate the song from scratch (I would've used the original project file, but the damn thing is killing my CPU).

It has some perks the original doesn't have, basically just a jazzed up version, but damn am I proud of it.

I know I say this all the time, but this time I think this is one of my best songs yet, but I need your opinions to prove it.

The song is the first song on my Rithum player, just click on my avatar to go to my FFR profile.

The staccato like strings rhythmically and sometimes melodically don't seem to flow well in the song, it sounds kind of forced.

The FL piano sound is just errg, you can get away with better sounds than that.

Lastly, I feel like there wasn't much of a flow in terms of building up towards a climax and coming back down. Everything was pretty much the same intensity, and started to lose the drive and power towards the end than when the song began.
Freeform usually doesn't consist of a solid structure (hence the name freeform). The original song had offbeat strings (when I was less experienced), I didn't intend to change it. The forced 16ths were also a flaw in the original, but I chose to keep the flaw in the remake because I felt it was signature to the whole thing. I didn't use FL Keys either, it was Edirol HQ, maybe I should've used Nexus.

Infinite Dimensions is a perfect example of freeform with linear grooves, just depends on the type of freeform you're making.
